The good news is we are continuing to see motivated buyers actively searching across many parts of St. Louis and St. Charles County. Inventory has improved slightly compared to earlier in the year, but we still are not seeing enough homes available to fully meet buyer demand in many areas.

What’s changed most is buyer behavior.

Buyers today are taking a more thoughtful approach to their decisions. They are paying close attention to condition, pricing, location, and overall value before submitting offers. Homes that feel well-prepared, clean, updated, and appropriately priced are still moving quickly and generating strong interest.

On the other hand, homes that are overpriced or not properly presented are sitting longer and often requiring price adjustments.

One thing many sellers do not realize is how important first impressions have become. Buyers are scrolling through listings quickly online, and presentation matters from the very beginning. Professional photos, thoughtful staging, clean spaces, and strong marketing can completely change how a property performs in today’s market.
